LOGLINE:
'ASTRAL FORCE' is a new story about a young group of super powered individuals going through the trials and tribulations of everyday young adulthood, while also battling an ancient evil with the sole purpose of enacting chaos and destruction throughout their city.
This project is greatly inspired by Power Rangers, Super Sentai, Anime, and Manga!
BASIC PREMISE:
Throughout all of human history, there have been tales of titans, gods, and heroes that have been used to define the undefinable. The explanation of natural phenomena through storytelling and myth is important to humanity. These stories have some base in a reality, unknown to those in the modern era.
Agents of Chaos are growing due to the hectic and hostile nature of the modern era. Forces feared by mankind are coming to the surface from the underworld, seeking to stoke the flames of chaos and destruction, and create turmoil for the modern world.
There are mystic artifacts that grant power to those who are capable of wielding it. These guardians act as earthly representations of celestial power. Their goal is to defend the balance of the world, and to protect the innocent from the forces of chaos and evil.
MEET THE CHARACTERS!
They all come from different walks of life and have different upbringings and personalities, but each of them bring different strengths and weaknesses that help balance each other out, and help everyone grow.
ASTRAL RED - CASSANDRA HINO
CHARACTER BIO
DESCRIPTION:
Cassandra is the altruistic, thoughtful, and kind leader of 'Astral Force'. She is expressive, quick to act, and always serves her community to help others when she can. She always watches over the neighborhood kids, and has a great relationship with her entire community. ​
She lives with her mother and works in the café that her mother runs called 'Café Stella', which is the first floor of the building that they own.
She is in her third year of university, studying to work as a pediatric nurse or doctor.

LIKES:
She likes spicy food, makes great espresso drinks, and loves thrifting. Her favorite café snacks are a hot caramel latte with cinnamon, and some coffee cake.
DISLIKES:
She dislikes selfish people and bullies. She greatly dislikes luxury and excessive spending, as she believes that it is unnecessary and wasteful.

Cassandra can generate heat, spark fires, and hold small flames. She can generate flames with her sword slashes, heal teammates with radiant energy, and create shields and barriers of radiant energy and flame.

ASTRAL YELLOW - LUX AKANA
CHARACTER BIO
DESCRIPTION:
Lux is the level-headed and energetic spark of the team. She is blunt and can come off as having a bit of an attitude at times, but always speaks her mind. She is funny and always lights up the room no matter the situation. She is loved by everyone who meets her, and always inspires people.

She loves fruity flavors and sour candies. She loves going on adventures and trying out new hobbies. She loves making fun videos for her socials, dancing, and collecting cute things. She wants to make her life exciting, and is always moving.

DISLIKES:
She hates judgmental people, metal music, and bitter flavors. She especially hates when people are mean to others about their hobbies or things that they enjoy.

Lux can generate small electric sparks, shock people, and charge up electronics. She can use electricity to amplify her movements, imbue her arrows and strikes with electricity to stun enemies, and has an amazing memory.

ASTRAL GREEN - SOTA LANI
CHARACTER BIO
DESCRIPTION:
Sota is the carefree and friendly jokester of the group. He is an artist at heart, and loves music and poetry. He likes to be free, and never overexert himself. He does the bare minimum, and that is totally okay with him. He has a 'go with the flow' attitude, and wants to live a good, simple life.

LIKES:
He loves fashion, pop culture, and music. He loves keeping up with fashion magazines and online accounts. He always goes to music stores to find new artists, and always goes to local music shows to support local artists. He loves being outdoors, feeling the wind.

DISLIKES:
He really dislikes when people are too serious about everything, and he hates when people make their problems everyone else's. He hates when people look down on other people's dreams, and feels it is disrespectful and unnecessary to do that.
He really hates spicy food and has the worst spice tolerance ever.

Sota can generate wind in multiple ways. He is able to add slashing force to his attacks, and create small cyclones to pull enemies in. He is able to air walk, jump higher and farther, and avoid falling damage.
ASTRAL PINK - NOVA GUERRERO MILLER
CHARACTER BIO
DESCRIPTION:
Nova is the strong, beautiful, and intelligent princess of the team. She is a superstar in more ways than one. She is beloved by all, and is always charming everyone she meets. She is one of the best volleyball players in the country, and is also a brilliant student. She is extremely passionate about technology and engineering, but comes from a family of lawyers and doctors who do not really support a path like that.

LIKES:
She enjoys staying active and healthy, but loves clubbing with her friends whenever she has time. She loves wood puzzles, and taking apart old tech and putting it back together.

DISLIKES:
She doesn’t like any slow music or classical music.
She is so used to getting her way that she gets irritated easily if things don’t go her way or people disagree with her.

Nova has super strength, and has an enhanced understanding of technology and engineering. She can build anything that she can imagine. She can generate large energy shields to protect her teammates, and has heightened battle sense.
ASTRAL BLUE - ARLO WELLS
CHARACTER BIO
DESCRIPTION:
Arlo is the dedicated and pragmatic realist of the group. He is intelligent, but his success comes from his diligence and willingness to always work hard. He is not very trusting of others, and is stuck in his own head quite often. He never spares people's feelings, but is slightly awkward and shy around strangers.

LIKES:
He enjoys food and the culinary arts. He loves watching cooking shows, reading cooking books, and trying out new recipes. He likes listening to podcasts about food whenever he has to work or walk as he finds music a bit more distracting.

DISLIKES:
He dislikes when people try so hard to make others around them happy, as he sees it as superficial and unnecessary. He really gets annoyed when people don't tell him the truth right away and try to 'people please' as much as possible.

Arlo can generate and control small amounts of water, and is able to breathe underwater. He can buff his teammates with water, and makes them stronger in different ways. He can imbue his strikes with water slashes, and trap enemies in water bubble prisons.
ASTRAL BLACK - ATLAS LEE
CHARACTER BIO
DESCRIPTION:
Atlas is stoic, reserved, and introverted. He doesn't value relationships or friendship very much. He is constantly focused on improving himself and being his absolute best. He never shows his emotions. He is isolated, and always chooses to do everything on his own. He is seemingly always calm, collected, and never embarrassed. His place in the story is a mystery for a while, and will become a big part of the tale as time goes on.

His favorite cafe drink and food item is usually a Hot Black Milk Tea or London Fog, and a Butter Croissant.
He makes great tea, and loves to relax with tea and traditional music from various cultures, and loves jazz music.
He is very accustomed to luxury brands and items. Loves to dress in a very business formal and casual way, always presents himself in the best way possible.

He hates people who he views as too weak to take care of themselves. He values individual effort and skill over teamwork. doesn’t like when people have to rely on others.

ITEMS AND MECHA
These are the items and mecha that will be featured throughout the story.
Astral Changers
There will be three different sets of changers.
Astral Red, Astral Yellow, and Astral Green will have the same changer as they are the main trio of the story.
Astral Pink and Astral Blue will have the same changers as they are additional members that are added as the story progresses.
Astral Black has his own changer as he is separate for most of the story and his changer specifically has a different origin.
Astral Force Mecha
Astral Red will be the main body and first mecha that is uncovered. It is fully capable of combat on its own, and all three members of the main trio will be able to pilot together.
Astral Yellow, and Astral Green will be the main body upgrades that occur as the story progresses. This will greatly increase the power of the mecha and showcase more of the growing bond between them.
Astral Pink and Astral Blue will be the auxiliary upgrades of the mecha, to showcase the newest members as well as grant their mecha more utility and power.
MONSTERS AND VILLAINS
The monsters and villains of Astral Force are inspired by demons and devils from various religions and mythologies throughout history. There are varying types throughout the story. They will have different features and iconography that connect them to varying emotions and fears.
Low Level Demons and Mid Level Demons
These are some varying designs of the different types of demons that will be featured in the story.
Lower Level Demons will vary in size and shape, have the simplest horns, and have no special attributes or weapons. They are purely melee combatants that attack with little to no agency or thought and are much more chaotic.
Mid Level Demons will vary in size and shape, have double or triple horns, and feature varying attributes and weapons that differentiate them. They have a little bit more intelligence, have special abilities, and lead the Lower Level Demons.
Higher Level Demons
Higher Level Demons have the most control and intelligence of this monster type. They command Mid and Low Level Demons, have an ego, and have immense confidence. They are much stronger and have more power abilities and weapons as well.
The monster featured here is the main Higher Level Demon from the Astral Force Prologue, which will feature Lux and Sota a year before the main story begins. The art here depicts what they look like before the story kicks off, showcasing a lot of change that must've happened in the time between the prologue and main story.
